Ok, first off... let me start by letting you know that there are various ways of defining Android OS. You can go to Wikipedia.com and it will give you all the information that you need to know about the Android OS. But I don't want to be that specific and I just want to give everyone a simple meaning that everyone can understand.
Android OS = FULL Control over your device.
For years, we have been buying cell phones, it has always been WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Nokia's Symbian OS, Apple's IOS, RIM's BlackBerry OS, Windows Phone, Palm WebOS etc. are different types of Mobile platform that we get STUCK with a stock ROM when we buy our cell phones.
With the Android OS we can now choose from different ROM's (requires rooting equivalent to jailbreaking for iphone users or having root access), we can now overclock the speed of our processor, have all our APPS saved to SD and many, many other features that lets users take control.
I am not here to convince you to get an Android Phone. I am here to provide you information to let you know what You, Have Been Missing Out. Check back to get more updates...
